The challenge
A dated kitchen where the homeowners assumed a full tear-out was the only option, with tired cabinet finishes, worn countertops, and a dark, closed-in feel.

What we did
Inspected the existing cabinet boxes, found them structurally sound, and refinished and repainted them rather than replacing — then put the budget saved into new countertops, backsplash tile, and updated hardware.

The result
A kitchen that reads as fully renovated for a fraction of a replacement budget, finished faster because the cabinet boxes never had to come out.
