Halden Design-Build was founded in 2017 by a residential architect who kept getting called in after a renovation had already gone wrong: mismatched finishes, a layout that didn't work, a kitchen that looked expensive but felt disjointed.

We build the way we'd design for ourselves: fewer decisions handed to a showroom, more of them made deliberately, on paper, before demolition ever starts. Every project has one designer attached from concept through final walkthrough.

We take on a small number of projects each year on purpose. It's the only way the design stays this specific to the house it's for.
